The Journey Begins At The Cross

When the apostles of Christ saw him hang on the cross and die, they thought that their journey had ended at the cross. But is was just beginning. As the apostles prayed and mourned after Christ death, they were lost momentarily. Then when Christ appeared to them and told them to wait, wait until the day of Pentecost. On that day the apostles where filled with the Holy Spirit, which marked the beginning of their journey. Without the cross, there would be no beginning of the journey (The journey Begins here).

There are millions of people around the world who came to the cross, excepted Christ for who he is, the Son Of God and our savior, who died on the cross for our sins, and now they are forgiven and so they have arrived. Their journey is over.

They couldn't be more wrong. Just as for the apostles, their journey is just beginning. If they would reach out to God, he would take them on a fantastic journey which begins right there in their prayer room. The journey does not end at the cross, but just begins.

So I hope you will return every month or so and see where this journey leads me and perhaps helps open your eyes and ears a little more for your journey. Only God knows how far he wants to take you. So continue to seek God so that your journey may continue on it's wonderful path.
